About Us

Hello Friends!

We are Alison and David Da Silva. We are first generation immigrants from Portugal. We met at church youth group when we were 15 and have been together ever since. From the very beginning of our relationship we have been attending car shows/meets. From strip mall car meets to having our car in the DC convention center we have really spent a lot of years supporting our car community. 

The idea  to start Stance Co. came to us from going to car events, seeing other creators designs and thinking why don't we take my DIY skills and David's love for car culture and mesh them together. 

I have been doing DIYs since high school, weather it was upcycling thrifted clothes or working at Michaels and learning all types of different crafts there. I have always loved to DIY or put my own spin on things. David has been working on his own cars since he got the keys to his first car and now has become a badass technician ( if i do say so myself :) ) 

I started created clothes, stickers, decals and thats when that idea to start our own business resparked. We started gaining support from friends and family and now here we are. We wanted to name our business after something we were passionate about and we cant image naming our business than after the little pup that was my best friend.

 We hope you love our pieces just as much as we love creating them :)
